Instrument & Measurements Services Ltd (IMS) was established in 1995 to concentrate upon the provision of technically advanced Metering And Analytical facilities to the oil and gas industries.

Contracts include the fiscal and allocation metering, flow measurement and analytical support facilities for the Liverpool Bay Development of BHP Petroleum Ltd both onshore and offshore.

The contract awarded, referred within the industry as "healthcare" involves the total management package of maintaining accuracy standards and reliability of Metering/Analyser assets and the control, care and custody of associated spares, test equipment and certification requirements ensuring all contractual obligations are carried out effectively and efficiently on behalf of the clients and their partners.

To ensure efficient utilisation of resources is achieved, IMS can carry out various forms of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and criticality review on measuring equipement and components to establish optimum verification tasks and frequency schedules.

IMS do not believe our function is to simply provide the specialised manpower, but to work in partnership with our clients, managing their requirementsin a manner which exceeds their expectation whilst satisfying any statutory and third party needs.

We are equiped to offer a fast-responce service to fit in with clients production schedules, maintenance periods or contractual completion dates. In short, we always strive to conduct our assignments in a way that enhances and adds value to our client's operations.
